The Dickens Inn can trace its origins back to 1799.Our unusual timber venue is a former 18th century spice warehouse nestled in the heart of the dock that was, for over a century, London’s trading outlet. Over time the building was reconstructed in the style of a three storey inn and provides a one of a kind and spacious setting.
The Dickens Inn building is now divided into The Tavern Bar , a traditional English Pub, two distinctive restaurants Pizza and The Grill and The Dickens Suite a spacious function facility. We can cater for all occasions ranging from a pub lunch to a three course banqueting event.
